Majestic Watch Co., Switzerland, for Gorham Co., New York, 8 day oversize pocket watch, 15 jewels, stem wind and set, cotes de Genève decorated nickel plate movement with lever escapement and cut bimetallic balance in a nickel, hinged back and snap bezel, open face case and Arabic numeral, outer red 5-minute markers, single sunk, white enamel dial, signed "Gorham Co.", plum colored steel spade and poker hands, 70mm, c1900.
CONDITION:
CASE: Scratches on outer surface of case; Scratches and staining on cuvette; Dirty. DIAL: Specks of dirt / dust, otherwise very good. HANDS: A few specks of oxide. MOVEMENT PLATES: Minor scratches and staining on plate; Broken case screw; Dirty/ oily. MOVEMENT FUNCTION: Running order (winds, sets and ticks), needs service.
